Wallpaper 15 Ford’s Best-In-Class Fuel Efficient Vehicles 2012
Ford is working hard to score variants with high fuel efficiency. Currently the plant from the United States is currently developing TDCi diesel engines, low CO2 ECOnetic Technologies and EcoBoost petrol engine.
With the development of engine technology, Ford has prepared 15 variants are claimed to have high levels of fuel efficiency. As a first step, 15 variants will be launched in Europe this year.
At the end of 2012, Ford will have a portfolio of the most fuel-efficient cars, which offers CO2 emissions below 100g/km. The collection includes two models of Ford diesel Ford Focus and Fiesta models of six (three diesel, three petrol).
In this year also will launch the Focus Electric AORD as the first of Ford's electric vehicle with the advantages of zero emissions.
"The introduction of the new EcoBoost gasoline engine as from us, it helps us to create a vehicle with low CO2 emissions. Not only efficient, but also still have outstanding performance," said Ford of Europe's technical director Sherif Marakby.
Nine of a total of 15 variants of Ford's fuel-efficient it will use the EcoBoost 1.0-liter gasoline engine. The engine has just been named as the best engine in 2012.
In addition to Focus variants that have the power 100ps and 125ps, Ford also will introduce two new models of the B-MAX and the four models of the variant C-MAX and Grand C-MAX models.
