VolksWagon Vento is the latest and most affordable four wheel luxury pursuit car to be run on Indian Roads.The highest top speed going car which was to be ever seen is this Volks wagon Vento.The Vento’s 1.6-litre common-rail diesel engine is expected to outsell the petrol. The twin cam diesel produces 105PS@4400rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1500 to2500rpm. The 1.6-litre four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve petrol motor is the same as the Polo and Fabia and it develops 105PS@ 5250 rpm and 153of torque@ 3800 revs.The petrol motor is refined, power is adequate and at high revs too the engine feels relaxed. Power delivery is smooth, the engine delivers good driveability and 100kmph is reached in a little under 13seconds which makes it slower to honda city and hundai verna .The 5-speed manual is slick but the automatic transmission feels lazy and in sports mode it doesn’t hold the gear and shifts automatically. The ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of 15.04kmpl is less than the Verna Fluid and the Honda City.This car has a luxury seating with safety measures such as disposing air bags when an impact happens.
