BMW thinks about the future, but this is the second car from "i" segment. Let us remember the studie that represented the i8 hybrid sports car. I3 and i8 are preparing to enter the market in 2013 and 2014. I3 is a coupe version of the already presented i3 studie. BMW with i3 argues that even electric cars can be exciting. This studie is not definitive but gives us a clue what will be the production model. Lightweight carbon fiber, aluminum are just some of the materials used to make the car as light as possible and more agile in driving. BMW ConnectedDrive functions is represented in this car, which allows the exchange of information between the driver and car, especially smartphones. As far as the engine is the same as the first i3 studie and these are electric motors of 125 kW (170 bhp). I3 will be exhibiting at this week's 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
